These crafted natural wood finish lecterns combine traditional furniture design with economic and highly functional features. Designed to fit through a standard 36" door, MT-400 series lecterns are wide enough to accommodate either a 17" computer monitor or LCD flat panel. The standard MT-400 Shell features one drop down side shelf for integrated add-ons such as a document camera and/or a 35mm slide digitizer, a retractable/ keyboard drawer, a lockable storage drawer, lockable doors, flexible internal shelving that will accommodate multimedia PCs, and integrated playback devices such as a VCR and/or DVD player. SchoolMate is constructed of hardwood veneer core Florida Maple with a hand-rubbed finish.

MT-400 "Flip and Store" Feature
The Mediatech SchoolMate is feature-packed with a design based on feedback from K-12 and higher education institutions. One feature that clearly makes SchoolMate a standout from the crowd is its "flip and store" LCD monitor security system. Adapted to fit most 15" or 17" LCD flat panels on the market, SchoolMate uses a hinged storage system that hides the flat panel in a lockable subsurface storage compartment. Simply unlock, flip open and present. When the presententation is over, flip it closed and lock it up. The lectern is normally keyed to a single key with lockable front removable panel, storage drawer, and doors.
